The 7th Annual War in Watford is back, bringing one of Watford City’s most anticipated hockey events to the Rough Rider Center on September 11 & 12!

The Minot Minotauros and Bismarck Bobcats will once again face off in an action-packed preseason exhibition series just one week before the NAHL regular season begins. Experience the speed, physicality, and intensity as these longtime rivals battle for bragging rights in front of an electric Watford City crowd.

This Year’s Theme: America 250

In honor of the 250th anniversary of American independence, this year’s War in Watford celebrates America 250 with exclusive specialty jerseys worn only during this event.

Both teams’ jerseys feature:

• America 250 logo on the left chest
• Colonial soldiers on the right shoulder
• Modern American soldiers on the left shoulder

Minot Minotauros Jersey

• 13 red and white stripes inspired by the American flag
• Eagle from the Seal of the United States Congress
• Minotauros “Bullhead” logo in American Flag red on the shoulders

Bismarck Bobcats Jersey

• 50 stars around the body representing today’s 50 states
• 13 stars around the sleeves honoring the original 13 colonies
• Eagle from the Seal of the President of the United States
• White Bobcats logo on the shoulders
